This past summer, FCUSA and Steel Soccer players from across the country had the trip of a life time when they flew to France to watch the USA Women’s team play in the FIFA Women’s World Cup.
FCUSA MA players joined fans from all over the globe to cheer on the best female soccer players in world, as well as tour some of France’s most famous landmarks. The trip saw the players visit Paris and Lyon, where they watched the US team advance to the semi-final with a 2-1 win over England.
The Women’s World Cup was a fantastic event, and showed how far the women’s game has developed around the world, both in terms of participant numbers and spectators.
Not only were the players able to take advantage of the FIFA fan experiences to test their soccer skills but they also got the opportunity to train with a Olympique Lyonnais Girls Academy in Lyon whilst they were there. The opportunity to play with players from another country was a fantastic experience for all to be involved in. Check out the photos from their training session with Julien Legrand by CLICKING HERE
